About ZeonGogo and His Team

Team ZeonGogo began with a Hong Kong songwriter devoted to children’s music, and a Hong Kong teacher who has poured her heart into early childhood education. Together we share one simple belief: that children grow best when their days are filled with music, movement, and laughter; when they are nurtured in warm families; when they learn to see beauty in the world; and above all, when they come to know Jesus.

Much of our work is about walking alongside teachers. In Hong Kong, kindergartens can lean more academic, with children often working through books and exercises at a very young age. Through our training sessions, we simply want to bring more music into everyday school life — singing and moving so that lessons hold not only learning, but also joy.

We also design music programmes specially for schools, and step into classrooms ourselves to lead children in musical activities. Our hope is that when children look back on their kindergarten years, their memories won’t be only of books and work, but of laughter, music, and the joy of singing together.

Music is one of God’s greatest gifts. It brings delight, but even more, it is for sharing. With our children’s choir, we have stepped into churches, hospitals, schools, and community spaces. Each time, the shining eyes and smiles of children have been our greatest joy.

We have also poured our hearts into recordings and albums. Each project is more than just putting songs on tape, it is an experience of being moved again and again. Many of our songs have since become classics in Cantonese early education and special education, accompanying children as they grow. And those touched are not only the young listeners, but also our choir children, parents, teachers, and ourselves. Music never stops; it keeps flowing, carrying warmth wherever it goes.

Along the way, we have written for textbooks and composed for organisations: school anthems, curriculum songs, and theme songs. Our partners include Educational Television (ETV), Plan International, SAHK, Heep Hong Society, Educational Publishing House, Pearson and Ying Lee Music, etc. Each collaboration has been a gift, for the children and for our Heavenly Father.

In time, our music found its way online. When we first uploaded Let’s Clap, it went massively viral, which we never imagined, even though we knew children loved the song. That surprise gave us fresh motivation, inspiring us to make even better videos and share them with friends around the world. Today, our channel has grown to over 20,000 subscribers, and Let’s Clap alone has passed 4 million views. For us, these are not just numbers. We’re truly blessed to know that the tunes we create for Hong Kong children are reaching families across the world, helping overseas communities keep their language and culture alive.

That is why we have also launched online classes in Cantonese Chinese and early-years art. Wherever children may be, we hope they will find in music and art the same connection — to Hong Kong, and to love.

Every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord, who fits them together like pieces of a colourful puzzle. To be even one small piece of that picture is our honour.
